Breakfast restaurant closed, breakfast package possible
The breakfast restaurant is closed. Hotel guests can order a breakfast package upon check-in. In the morning, the breakfast package can be picked up at the reception and taken in the room or outside the hotel.
Safe and comfortable
At Van der Valk, the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees has the highest priority. In order to guarantee your health and safety, we would like to ask you to observe the following policy during your visit to our hotel:
- Follow indicated walking direction and hygiene measures
- Keep 1.5 meters distance from other guests and employees
- Do not shake hands with fellow guests or hotel staff
- Wash your hands regularly and in accordance with RIVM guidelines
- Use paper towels to dry your hands
- Cough and sneeze in your elbow and turn away from fellow guests and hotel staff
- Preferably pay with pin or contactless
Do you have symptons of a cold, such as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase to 38 degrees Celsius? Then we ask you to stay at home and not to come to the hotel.

Can Van der Valk be open as a hotel?
Yes, according to government guidelines it is allowed to be open as a hotel for necessary overnight stays.
Is visiting a Van der Valk hotel safe?
Van der Valk takes your health and that of the employees very seriously. We have tightened measures within the hotel so that this can be guaranteed. All Van der Valk hotels are furnished according to the guidelines of the RIVM. As a hotel, we do everything we can to keep risks to a minimum.
As a hotel guest, can I use breakfast?
Yes, as a hotel guest you can order a breakfast package upon check-in. The breakfast restaurant is closed.
Is it possible to order room service?
No, you cannot order room service. You can, however, order take away dishes from the reception between 17:00 and 21:00 and enjoy them in your hotel room. Take away dishes are delivered to the hotel and can be picked up in the lobby.
What facilities are open in the hotel?
Due to the renovation, the facilities in our hotel are limited. You can currently contact us for an overnight stay with a breakfast package and take away dishes that you can enjoy in your room.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
You can cancel or change your regular booking free of charge until 12:00 on the day of arrival. If the cancellation is made after 12:00, 100% of the reservation value of the first night will be charged. In case of a non-refundable booking you can change the dates of your reservation once free of charge. Below you can read the conditions:
• It concerns an existing and non-refundable reservation which, due to the Covid-19 measures that apply until January 19, 2021, has been moved once and for free to a new arrival date.
• The new arrival date will be within a 12-month period from the original arrival date, except for arrivals in the period from March 15 to September 15, 2021.
• This reservation cannot be changed or canceled after this.
Can I change my booking on the day of arrival if I have a cold or cough?
Do you have a cold, such as a cold, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase to 38 degrees Celsius? Then we ask you to stay at home and not to come to the hotel. Of course we will think along with you in the form of a suitable solution.
