The Pieterpad
The Pieterpad is the most well-known long-distance walking route in the Netherlands, over 500 kilometers. The path takes you from Pieterburen on the North Groningen Wadden coast to the Sint-Pietersberg in South Limburg, winding through a large number of different landscapes, varied nature, and areas with diverse cultural history.
The Pieterpad is for everyone
The Pieterpad can be walked by anyone. The route is divided into 26 stages that are on average between 15 and 22 kilometers long and that start and end at places that are accessible by public transport.
If you prefer to walk shorter or longer distances, you simply create your own arrangement.
The Pieterpad also runs through Venlo, making our hotel the perfect base for a stopover. After all, how better to recover than in one of our lovely hotel beds? In the morning, you start with a delicious breakfast, giving you plenty of energy to continue your walking route.

The Pieterfiets Path
The Pieterfietspad is the official cycling variant of the popular Pieterpad. The route of the Pieterfietspad is approximately 580 km long and connects all stage locations of the Pieterpad walking route. The route uses the cycling junction network and is suitable for recreational cyclists, as well as for users of mobility scooters or electric wheelchairs.
